Qutub Golf Course : The Qutub Golf Club named after the historical monument Qutub Minar that forms a lovely backdrop is maintained by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) and is the only public course in the country.The Qutub golf course is a haven for newcomers. A major tree planting excercise has helped the course become tougher, with some fairways tree-lined. The layout is par 70. An ideal golf course for beginners and high handicappers.
Design and Developed by the Delhi Development authority, the Qutab Golf Course launched with 9 holes in January 2000. In May 2002, this Golf Course was extended into a 18 hole Golf Course. There is a 250 yards, state of art driving range in the golf course. The Qutub Golf course is spread over 110 acres.
The most interesting hole at Qutab Golf Course is no doubt Hole No. 2, par 3 230 yards which is also one of the toughest hole on the course, the hole has the toughest greens to hit the approch shot as it is surrounded by big boulders.
Overall Qutab Golf Course is a short but thinking golf course.
